QATAR DESIGN
CONSORTIUM (QDC) is a leading Consultancy Firm offering high quality
services in Architecture, Engineering,
Project Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management /
Supervision and Management Consultancy. We require suitable candidates having
good experience for the following posts for our Projects and Facilities
Management Division:
1. CAFM ADMINISTRATOR
Degree in Engineering / Diploma or equivalent with minimum 5
years’ experience in CAFM systems, at least 2 Years as CAFM Administrator.
Excellent Communication, Team Leadership and Organisational skills with the
ability to organize others and to communicate effectively with both technical
and non– technical staff. Must be able to set and negotiate priorities and
subsequently program workload to achieve results and meet deadlines. Excellent
report writing skills. Experience in managing 24x7 Help Desk Operations for a
large organisation with 10,000 or more end users. Must also have experience in
Electro Mechanical building systems and Coding Knowledge are desired.
2. SENIOR ELECTRICIAN
Diploma/ ITI Electrical Trade (2Years) course. LOTO
certificate is an added advantage. 5 to 8 years’ experience in maintenance of
switch gears, LV panels, SMDBs, Bus Duct systems including tap off units, DB’s.
Experience in Site due diligence and compliance or audit is desired.
3. HVAC TECHNICIAN
Diploma/ Minimum trade certificate in HVAC systems from a
technical school. Minimum 5 years demonstrated working experience with HVAC
systems, preferably with hotels, hospitals and commercial buildings. Knowledge
of all types of air-conditioning systems: window AC, split AC, DX systems, air
cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, Energy Transfer solutions. Experience in
Site due diligence and compliance or audit is desired.
4. FIRE SYSTEM
TECHNICIAN
Diploma/ Minimum trade certificate as fire alarm technician
from a technical school. Minimum 5 years demonstrated working experience as a
fire alarms and restore them to original functionality. Knowledge of DCQ and
NFPA regulations. Experience in Site due diligence and compliance or audit is
desired.
5. MULTI SKILLED
TECHNICIAN
Diploma/ Minimum trade certificate as MEP technician from a
technical school. Minimum 5 years demonstrated working experience as MEP
Technician preferably with hotels, hospitals or commercial buildings. Expertise
in scoping, designing and delivering on key facilities MEP infrastructure and up
keep of building fabric. Experience in Site due diligence and compliance or
audit is desired.
